SMITHFIELD, RI – Smithfield police confirmed that one person succumbed to fatal wounds in the head-on collision that took place in the 777th block of Putnam Pike Monday.
New details from Turnto10 showed that first responders rushed the victim, a 20-year-old man, from Attleboro to Rhode Island Hospital. He was initially in critical condition but ended up passing away. To recap, the collision took place when one driver drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with the other vehicle.
