SEEKONK, MA – A Pawtucket couple was been killed following an accident on Route 44 last Tuesday, NBCBoston reports.
The crash occurred at 6 p.m. when a driver in a Corvette attempted to cross Route 44 and was struck by a Jeep.
The Jeep reportedly attempted to evade the crash but was unable to do so. The driver has not been indentified at this time and no criminal charges have been filed.
The driver of the Corvette was identified as 70-year-old Robert Langevin of Pawtucket. His passenger was 70-year-old Winifred Langevin, his wife.
Responders declared Winifred died in the crash. Robert was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead as well.
