WRENTHAM, MA – A woman was killed after a head-on crash on Route 1 Tuesday morning, reports WCVB.
The crash happened along Route 1 northbound near the intersection with Myrtle Street around 4 a.m.
Kerri Coppinger, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island was driving a Ford Fusion when she crashed head-on with a driver in a tractor-trailer.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the Ford may have drifted across the center line before colliding with the semi.
The truck’s driver was uninjured in the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
