SWANSEA, MA – A juvenile was rusehd to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Swansea.
According to a report by CBS Boston, the victim was hit at about 2:20 p.m. while walking on Milford Road.
Police say the 18-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons, causing it to jump the curb and strike the 12-year-old pedestrian.
The victim was rushed to a Providence hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The unidentified driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
