PROVIDENCE, RI – Parts of Interstate 95 near downtown Providence were blocked early Thursday evening, January 2, following a collision, according to RIDOTNews.
The accident unfolded on the northbound side of I-95 at Exit 38A-38B toward northbound Rhode Island 146/44, near the State Offices. It was first reported at around 5:26 p.m., not long before the scene was cleared.
Very few details have been disclosed at this time, but the wreck had the center lane closed in the immediate aftermath.
