PROVIDENCE, RI – An accident on I-95 in Lower South Providence caused significant delays for drivers this afternoon.
According to a report by Rhode Island DoT, the accident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 18 to Thurbers Avenue.

Details about the crash are limited at this time. However, at least one lane was closed as a result, causing traffic delays in the area.
