1 dead in Killingly motorcycle crash

KILLINGLY, CT – One motorcyclist is dead following a crash on Route 6 in Killingly on Saturday.

According to Fox 61, the crash occurred at the intersection of Cucumber Hill Road on Route 6 around 2:00pm. The motorcyclist, identified as 64-year-old Brian Carney of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, collided with a pick-up truck that was stopped at a traffic light.

Carney was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
