NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI – A 24-year-old man lost his life to a motorcycle crash on Route 4 Friday morning, WJAR News 10 reports.
The 24-year-old was riding his motorcycle on the highway when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a jersey barrier. He was ejected from his bike as a result. Police and EMS crews responded to the scene near the Stony Lane overpass before 3 a.m. Upon arrival, EMS crews transported the motorcyclist to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died.
The victim has since been identified as Parker Smith, a Cranston resident.
