PORTSMOUTH, RI – A suspected drunk driver crashed head-on with another vehicle on E Main Rd in Portsmouth Friday, according to WJAR.
Celio Da Silva Aleixo was driving north on E Main Rd when he crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a Toyota pickup truck.
Rescue crews transported the pickup truck driver to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities charged Silva Alexio with multiple charges, including DUI resulting in serious bodily injuries and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
