FALL RIVER, MA – Authorities responded to a multi-injury crash last Saturday, December 28, at Chaves Market in Fall River, according to 10 WJAR.
Officers with the Fall River Police Department were dispatched to the scene off Columbia Street, where a driver in the business parking lot had accidentally accelerated into a parked vehicle, and then into the market’s front wall.
Three pedestrians who were walking toward the market were in turn hit by the parked vehicle and suffered minor injuries. It was unclear whether they had to be transported to a hospital.
A building inspector who was called to the scene was able to determine that the structure had sustained no damage.
No charges were immediately reported.
