FREETOWN, MA – A man from Fall River was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Freetown early this morning.
According to WPRI, the accident took place shortly after 4 a.m. along Route 24.
Investigators say the driver lost control of his vehicle for unspecified vehicle and crashed into a roadside tree. The driver, an unidentified 49-year-old man, was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died a short time later.
