FAIRHAVEN, MA ā A 29-year-old man was transported to St. Lukeās Hospital, where he passed away after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver while on a moped scooter Saturday.Ā
This collision happened around 7:15 p.m. on Main Street, according to Turnto10.Ā
Police had identified the man as Alexis Alvarez, stating he was riding his scooter near the Riverside Cemetery when he was struck by the driver (who fled the scene afterward), operating a Chevy Silverado pickup truck.Ā
