Teen learning to drive slams into Cranston Dunkin’ Donuts store

CRANSTON, RI – A teenager with a learner’s permit was trying to put his car in reverse but instead unintentionally put it in drive, leading him to slam into a Dunkin Donuts store.

This collision happened around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday along the Reservoir Avenue and Park Avenue junction, according to Turnto10. As indicated in the photos, the practicing driver destroyed the glass windows. Despite the damage to the exterior, no one, which includes the employees inside, was harmed.

The establishment’s owner closed the store for repairs, but reopened it later.
