BRIDGEWATER, MA – Police arrested a 30-year-old Maine man early Thursday in connection to a solo crash at a rest stop in west-central Plymouth County.
According to WCVB 5, the accident happened around 4 a.m. at the Bridgewater Service Plaza on the northbound side of I-24.
Authorities allege that Andrew Beaulieu was intoxicated when he lost control of his Ford F-350 pickup truck and crashed into the Burger King and Dunkin’ Donuts in the rest area.
After leaving the rest area, Beaulieu was involved in a second single-vehicle crash in Westport.
Beaulieu faces multiple charges, including OUI and negligent operation.
There’s no word yet regarding injuries, as the investigation continues.
