SWANSEA, MA – One teen was killed another was rushed to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash last Friday night.
According to NBC Boston, the crash happened in the 171 block of Marvel Street near Bark Street at about 11:20 p.m.
Police say the 17-year-old driver of a Ford Fusion lost control for unknown reasons, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and collide with a fire hydrant and a utility pole.
The driver, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, another 17-year-old, was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
