PROVIDENCE, RI – Police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run in south Providence last Friday that left a man critically injured.
According to WPRI, an unidentified 53-year-old man was crossing Broad Street near the Roger Williams Park Zoo when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The victim was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition.
The driver fled the scene immediately following the incident. No further details regarding their identity or vehicle are available at this time.
