TIVERTON, RI – A man was taken to the hospital following a car crash in Tiverton Friday afternoon.
The man crashed into a telephone pole and stone wall on Crandall Road around 2:30 p.m. reports WPRI. The collision caused the telephone pole to snap releasing electrical wires.
The man was taken to the hospital although his condition is not known at this time.
Authorities closed down the roadway for some time so that repairs could be made.
