NARRAGANSETT, RI – A motorcyclist died last Friday as the result of a collision with a pickup truck north of Narragansett, NBC 10 reports.
Police say the fatal motorcycle crash happened at about 5:20 p.m. on August 7.
The motorcyclist was traveling south on Boston Neck Road when he entered the northbound lanes to pass vehicles in front of him. He then hit a pickup truck as it was turning onto Conanicut Road.
Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to South County Hospital, where he died. He has been identified as Patrick Sweeney, 47.
The pickup’s driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigations.
