EXETER, RI – A driver crashed into a utility pole in Exeter causing power outages in the area Wednesday morning.
According to WPRI, the crash happened near the intersection of Ten Rod Road and Mount Tom Road around 2 a.m.
The impact snapped the pole in half leaving over a hundred households without power. The vehicle was found heavily damaged in the woods nearby.
Whether anyone was injured or what caused the crash is unknown at this time.
