PROVIDENCE, RI – Rhode Island State Police arrested a 33-year-old man after a DUI crash on Interstate 95 in Providence last Friday, June 19.
Police told The Patch that the arrest occurred after 1 a.m. and the 33-year-old man, identified as Vladimir Guzman Abreu, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and refusing to partake in a chemical test.
Police booked Guzman Abreu into the Lincoln Woods Barracks. He has been arraigned and released, and is expected to make a future court appearance.
Police have not revealed the events leading to the crash or confirmed whether anyone else was involved or injured in the collision.
