FREETOWN, MA – Vehicle occupants were hurt in a vehicle fire Tuesday morning on Route 24 near Exit 10 in Freetown, reports NBC 10 News.
Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene following reports of a fire at about 6:25 a.m. that morning. Emergency medical personnel also arrived to treat those involved.
Police say the incident resulted in injuries. However, officials described those injuries as not life-threatening.
Authorities have not released any further details about how many people were injured or what started the fire. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
