CRANSTON, RI – Cranston police arrested a 55-year-old man with DUI after a collision involving a school bus that happened along Cranston Stebbins Stadium.
According to WPRI, the crash happened around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. Preliminary details show that the 55-year-old man, driving a car, was turning from Crothers Avenue onto Park Avenue when he collided with a school bus.
Police said the bus driver was transporting two children with disabilities. At least one person sustained minor injuries; however, police did not specify who was injured.
The 55-year-old man has been identified as Steven Figuerado. He was charged with DUI and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
