NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI – A 29-year-old man was arrested for DUI after causing a head-on crash that sent some people to Rhode Island Hospital Thursday.
The collision took place at 7:45 p.m. in the 1967th block of Mineral Avenue and left significant damage to a gray truck and black SUV, according to WJAR News 10.
Police said the impaired driver, Dino Colaluca, was driving east on Mineral Spring Avenue when he veered into the westbound lanes and struck another vehicle.
Officers did not specify how many people were injured but said they were left in serious condition.
