DARTMOUTH, MA – A 62-year-old New Bedford man lost his life after a multi-vehicle crash with a big rig reported on I-195 West Wednesday, WPRI said.
Massachusetts State Police arrived at the scene after 11:20 a.m. and declared the man dead at the scene. He has since been identified as Anthony Moniz.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation was also called to the collision site and shut down all westbound lanes on the interstate.
Authorities reopened the area after 2:30 p.m.
An investigation is underway.
