PROVIDENCE, RI – A motorcyclist sustained a broken foot and an upper-body injury after rear-ending a left-turning fire truck at Eddy Street and Georgia Avenue Monday.
Police told WPRI that the motorcyclist struck the back of the fire truck’s passenger side and confirmed the truck did not have active sirens at the time of the crash.
The motorcyclist is recovering at a nearby hospital. Their current physical condition has not been disclosed, and police have not mentioned any citations or criminal charges.
