WOONSOCKET, RI – According to ABC 6, a driver collided with a pedestrian on the 400 block of Diamond Hill Rd Thursday night.
Jared Travers, 30, allegedly hit the 71-year-old victim around 6:15 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
Authorities charged Travers with duty to render assistance and duty to stop in an accident resulting in serious injury.
