YARMOUTH, MA – Two people were hurt Thursday night in a two-vehicle collision along Route 6 in central Barnstable County, reports CapeCod.Com.
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., emergency crews responded to a rollover crash on the eastbound side of the highway past Station Avenue in Yarmouth.
Police say that 27-year-old Dyllon McNeil was speeding and evading an attempted traffic stop when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to hit a Nissan Rogue. The Rogue then overturned, injuring both occupants.
Medics transported an adult and a juvenile from the Rogue to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
McNeil faces multiple charges, including negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
A full investigation is underway.
