Car hits utility poles in Woonsocket, sending driver to hospital 

WOONSOCKET, RI – A 26-year-old man was hospitalized for serious wounds after he crashed his car into two utility poles, a stone wall, and a parked car Thursday. 

Police told WPRI that the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Carrington Avenue. While details behind this wreck are scarce, officers do believe the driver may have been speeding but confirmed they were unharmed. 

The driver is facing unspecified charges and is recovering from injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
