Injuries reported following multi-vehicle crash in Charlestown

CHARLESTOWN, RI – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision at Route 1 and E Beach Road Monday, according to WJAR.

Kalyana Champlain Spears, 45, was driving a red truck when they collided with two other vehicles around 4:30 p.m. At least one person suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Following the collision, authorities arrested Spears and charged them with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
