EAST GREENWICH, RI – According to WJAR, one person was hurt when a driver collided with a parked pickup truck near the East Greenwich Fire Department on Monday.
The driver hit the vehicle around 1:30 a.m.
Emergency crews used the jaws of life to extricate one person from the vehicle that was hit. They then transported that person to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
