WEST WARWICK, RI – According to WJAR, a driver died in a single-vehicle collision on I-95 near RI 2 Monday.
Beatrice Batista, 25, lost control of her vehicle before rolling over and slamming into a tree around 1:40 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Batista dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities believe slick road conditions may have been a factor in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Rhode Island State Police.
