Police summoned to single-vehicle crash in Warwick

WARWICK, RI – Local police were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Main Avenue near Spooner Avenue on Sunday.

According to WPRI, the incident occurred at 6 p.m. when the driver of an unspecified vehicle crashed into a utility pole, resulting in some downed wires.

Rhode Island Energy also responded to the scene.

It’s unclear whether anyone experienced power outages.

Despite the nature of the collision, no one appeared to have been injured.

Police have not reported any citations and are actively working to determine the cause of the collision.
