PLAINFIELD, CT – WFSB reports that police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash involving a dump truck that happened on I-395 Wednesday.
Peter Burns, 57, was driving on slick, icy roads when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a speed limit sign, went through a wire guardrail, down an embankment, and hit multiple trees around 6:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced Burns dead at the scene.
The exact location where the incident happened is unclear at this time.
