WARWICK, RI – According to Yahoo, a police officer was driving to a call collided with another vehicle before crashing into a house at 2536 Post Rd Tuesday.
The officer was responding to a “priority call” around 3:20 p.m. when he struck the other vehicle, went off-road, and into a house.
First responders transported the officer and two occupants from the other vehicle to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Nobody inside the house was hurt.
The incident is under investigation by the Police Department’s crash reconstruction team.
