PORTSMOUTH, RI – According to WJAR, a suspected impaired driver was hurt after slamming into a utility pole near 3300 E Main Rd on Sunday.
The driver wrecked around 3 a.m.
Rescue crews extricated the driver and transported him to an area hospital.
Authorities charged the driver with DUI.
