SWANSEA, MA – A single-vehicle crash in the Swansea area claimed the life of a 25-year-old man early Sunday.
According to the Fall River Reporter, the crash happened on US-6 near the intersection with Jamie Lynn Lane at about 12:30 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle, Philip Mello, of East Providence, died at the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the deadly crash are unclear at this time. However, investigators say speed may have been a factor.
