BROCKTON, MA – Three people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Brockton Monday night.
According to NECN, a 57-year-old man driving a pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection of Montello Street and Lawrence Street around 8:30 p.m. He crashed into a patrol officer’s SUV, which had the lights and sirens on at the time.
The officer was taken to Brockton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver in the pickup and a 66-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and were both taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Police say the driver will be cited for failure to stop. An investigation is ongoing.
