Alleged DUI driver causes Richmond head-on wreck

RICHMOND, RI – A 31-year-old man was said to have been impaired when he crossed the double yellow lines on Kingstown Road and struck another vehicle head-on around 4 p.m. Saturday. 

This collision happened near Richmond Elementary School. ABC 6 said the man, identified as Jordan Navach, was arrested and charged with DUI, his first offense, and with refusing a chemical test, a civil offense. 

Navach will make an appearance in the Fourth Division District Court and will be re-arraigned on another day. 

Officials have not provided any information on the other driver’s condition.
