North Providence two-vehicle collision kills one

According to an article by Turn to 10, a two-vehicle collision happened on Route 146 North By Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, August 6. The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m., resulting in the death of one person and the hospitalization of four other individuals.

According to preliminary investigations, a Nissan struck a BMW from behind. The Nissan overturned, eventually coming to a stop facing south on the left shoulder. A 24-year-old Rhode Island female driver flew from the vehicle when it flipped. The BMW, on the other hand, continued to travel north and stopped in the right breakdown lane.

The female driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to police. Authorities said she died at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, the four individuals travelling in the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries as they all were wearing seat belts during the crash.
