PROVIDENCE, RI – A motorcyclist collided with and injured two pedestrians near 640 Elmwood Ave on Tuesday, according to WJAR.
A motorcyclist was speeding on Elmwood Ave when he rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped for two pedestrians to cross the street around 6:42 p.m.
The motorcycle caught on fire and dragged the male pedestrian an unknown distance. He suffered burns and injuries to his ankle, while the female pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
Following the collision, the motorcyclist left the scene on foot. He was not arrested.
The incident is under investigation by the Providence Police Department.
