TAUNTON, MA – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Monday night in Taunton.
WPRI reports that the accident occurred after 6 p.m. on Oak Street when a 79-year-old man from Taunton was struck by a vehicle driven by an unnamed 39-year-old man.
The pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver remained on the scene to cooperate with authorities.
