HOPKINTON, MA – A man was killed Wednesday morning after being struck in a head-on collision by a man now charged with drunk driving.
WJAR reports that the accident took place just after midnight on Interstate 495 when a Ford Transit driven by 29-year-old Devin Arroyo of Taunton was driving in the oncoming lane and struck an Infiniti.
The impact of the crash caused the Ford to rollover.
A tractor trailer then struck the Infiniti in the rear.
The driver of the Infiniti, an unnamed adult male, died from his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
Arroyo was hospitalized with minor injuries. Police took him into custody immediately upon his release from the hospital.
No other injuries are reported in the accident.
