Driver sends four to the hospital after running a stop sign

Four people were hurt during a collision that happened at the intersection of Purchase Street and Freeborn Avenue in  Rhode Island on Saturday, August 20th.

According to preliminary investigations, a driver ran a stop sign at the intersection, causing a collision with a second vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.

Four people sustained neck, back, and chest injuries because of the accident. Each of the victims had to be transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.
