NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI – One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash in the North Kingstown area last night.
According to WPRI, the accident happened near the intersection of Post Road and Hopedale Drive at about 8:15 p.m.
Investigators say the driver lost control of their SUV for unknown reasons, causing it to swerve off the roadway and into the woods nearby.
The driver was sent to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
