CRANSTON, RI – According to WJAR, two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser at Park Ave and Elmwood Ave Sunday.
A driver was heading north on Elmwood Ave when they ran a stop light and slammed into a police cruiser that was stopped at the light around 2:30 a.m. The cruiser had its lights and siren on.
Crews transported the officer and driver to an area hospital following the collision.
