AVON, MA – A rear-end crash on Route 24 north killed one person and injured another Saturday morning.
Mass Live reports the crash occurred at close to 2:20 a.m. when a Hyundai crashed into the back of a dump truck near Harrison Boulevard.
The driver of the car, 26-year-old Damiah Bosden-Wigfall, was killed in the accident.
The car caught fire in the collision. A 27-year-old female passenger escaped the vehicle before being taken to the hospital by responders. The severity of her injuries was not reported.
The driver of the dump truck was unharmed.
The cause of this crash is undetermined at this time, and an investigation is ongoing as of this writing.
