PROVIDENCE, RI – Rush-hour commuters in south Providence faced traffic delays resulting from a collision on I-95 this morning.
According to the Rhode Island DoT, the incident was first reported shortly after 8 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near the US-1 interchange.

Few details regarding the crash are available at this time. However, at least one left lane and the left shoulder were blocked while emergency crews cleared the scene.
All lanes have since been reopened.
