PROVIDENCE, RI – At least one lane on I-95 was closed following a collision just northbound downtown providence Thursday evening.
According to a report by Rhode Island DoT, the crash took place shortly after 6 p.m. along the southbound lanes of the interstate just before Exit 23 to Charles Street.

Details concerning the cause of the collision are limited at this time. However, at least one right lane was closed as a result, causing delays for rush-hour commuters in the area.
