PROVIDENCE, RI – A man was critically injured Thursday evening when he was hit by a vehicle in northeast Providence.
According to WLNE, the 73-year-old man was struck at about 5:30 p.m. while walking on Doyle Avenue.
The unidentified victims as found unresponsive at the scene and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if that individual will face any charges at this time.
