PAWTUCKET, RI – Emergency crews responded to a major rush-hour accident Tuesday morning along the interstate in Pawtucket, reports 10 WJAR.
The crash occurred sometime before 7 a.m. on the southbound side of I-95 near Exit 41, which is just west of the Seekonk River.
Police haven’t commented on the cause of the collision, which involved at least two vehicles. One of the vehicles, they say, overturned along the interstate.
It’s unclear if anyone involved in the crash required hospitalization.
Motorists experienced delays along the interstate until crews were able to clear the scene just after 7 a.m.
A full investigation is underway.
